
130 years ago, on April 13, 1883, Demyan Poor was born (Efim Alekseevich Pridvorov), who was considered the first Soviet poet for a long time.
In the order of April 22, 1923, the chairman of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic of Trotsky wrote: "Demyan is a poor, well -aimed shooter for the enemies of the workers, the valiant cavalry of the word, he was awarded the All -Russian Central Executive Committee - at the proposal of the RVSR - the Order of the Red Banner."
Demyan remained “valuable cavalry” until 1936, when Stalin, in a letter in the “truth”, the Libretto of the Opera “Bogatyr” written by him as “stupid and transparent” criticism of the Soviet system. In July 1938, Demyan was expelled from the party and from the Writers' Union for "moral decomposition. They rehabilitated him and again allowed to be printed only with the outbreak of World War II.
