Human rights activist Mikhail Savva was arrested for 2 months

The Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar decided to arrest Mikhail Savva for two months. Journalists were not allowed into the court, the entrance and all entrances to the court were blocked by police and the FSB. Savva himself is transported to the Avtosak of the FSB.

According to the lawyer of Savva Andrei Savchenko, the court found the application of the investigation to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention in the survivor and satisfied him, leaving Savva in custody until June 13.

The court refused to recognize the Drobot Julia, a lawyer of the Southern Regional Resource Center, one of the leaders of which is Mikhail Savva. This is a serious violation of the rights of the under investigation. Such a violation of the right to defense is the basis for applying to the European Court of Human Rights.
