The court refused to limit Krivov’s lawyer the deadline for familiarization with the case

The judge of the Basmann District Court of Moscow Natalia Dudar refused the Investigative Committee of the restriction of Vyacheslav Makarova, the lawyer of the "Swamp Prisoner" by Sergey Krivov, the deadline for familiarization with the case. This was reported by Radio Liberty. Thus, the Basmanny court first made a decision in favor of the "swamp prisoners".

As the defender suggested, the petition of the investigator is explained by the fact that he wanted to go on and go on vacation on the May holidays. Krivov at the meeting stated that the signature of familiarization with part of the case file was not put at all, Makarov, but the appointed state lawyer, whom the Politzek saw only once and with whom he refused to work. Therefore, he concluded a "swamp prisoner", his signature should not be taken into account.

Meanwhile, on April 2, the Investigative Committee reported that the court had already satisfied the petition to restrict Makarov to familiarize himself with the case. According to the department, the deadline was scheduled on April 16. The TFR accused Makarov that he deliberately delayed the familiarization. Investigators stated that Krivov’s lawyer got acquainted with only 16 volumes of a case of more than 60, although "the consequence created all the conditions for unhindered access to the materials of the criminal case."

On January 16, Makarov was removed from the protection of Krivov. This was announced by investigator Denis Kurdyukov by telephone. At the same time, the lawyer did not receive an official notification of his removal from the case. He immediately protested the Prosecutor General and the head of the TFR. In the future, however, information on the removal of Makarov did not find official confirmation.
