The FSB searches in the NPO of the arrested Mikhail Savva

In Krasnodar, the FSB officers came to the office of the Southern Regional Resource Center, the director of the grant programs of which Mikhail Savva was recently arrested. This was reported by Kasparov.ru with reference to the manager of the office of Kirill Drobot. The cause of the visit of the security forces of the shotgun was difficult to name. This is the third search that the FSB holds to the organization - the first two took place on March 14 and April 11.

Professor of the Kuban State University Savva was detained on Friday after the searches that the FSB spent in his apartment and garage. A week before this, the social activist was removed from work in the Council for Human Rights under the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, where he was deputy chairman.

On April 13, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar arrested Savva for two months. The publicist was charged with part 3 of Article 159.2 of the Criminal Code (fraud upon receipt of payments using his official position). He faces up to five years in the colony.

According to the FSB, Savva is guilty of embezzlement of budget money received by the URC as a grant. The center transferred 366 thousand rubles for a sociological study on the attitude of local residents to migrants. The security forces insist that in fact, the study was not conducted.

The charge under Part 3 of Article 159.2 was also charged with another employee of the URC - Victoria Remmler. Her phones have not been responding for several days. Meanwhile, it is Remmler that can be stored in the originals of profiles and questionnaires confirming that the study was really performed.

Savva students, as well as civil activists, are preparing shares in support of the social activist.
