Judge of the Tver District Court of Moscow Tatyana Nevrova canceled the fine of the LGBT activist Anna Annenkova for participating in the "Day of Kisses" on December 19, 2012. On February 26, the 1st police department at the Moscow Internal Affairs Directorate of Moscow opened a criminal case on the fact of beating Annenkova. The case was instituted under paragraph "A" of part 2 of Article 116 of the Criminal Code (beatings made from hooligan motives) against unidentified persons. It is conducted by the interrogator Sergey Soldatov. The activist is recognized as a victim.
