A cache of weapons was found in a Dagestan mosque

During a special operation, a cache of weapons, ammunition and “dual-use” items was found in the mosque in the village of Gimry, Untsukul district.

In the cache they found a machine gun, a pistol, an air pistol, magazines for the machine gun, machine gun belts, a grenade, a large number of cartridges, 27 radio stations of various modifications, several dozen car alarms, diagrams for making IEDs, maps of the area, cash - more than 200 thousand rubles, Interfax was told " in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Dagestan.

Operatives believe that this cache belongs to members of the Gimry sabotage terrorist group.

“The counting and qualification of the confiscated items continues. The operation was carried out jointly by operatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB Directorate for Dagestan and the temporary group of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Dagestan,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
