Putin will hold a direct line with the people on April 25

On April 25, 2013 at 12:00 Moscow time, a special program “Direct Line with Vladimir” will be aired on TV channels “First”, “Russia 1”, “Russia 24”, radio stations “Mayak”, “Vesti FM” and “Radio Rossii” Putin," the Kremlin press service reports .

The first communication between the head of state and citizens live on federal channels using teleconferences from different parts of the country, telephone calls and letters took place in 2001. Since then, this has become a tradition, which was not interrupted in 2008, when Putin headed the government. Only the name of the program was changed - it became called “Conversation with Vladimir Putin.” On December 15, 2011, the prime minister answered questions from Russians for 4.5 hours . “A Conversation with Putin” was watched that day by almost 40% of the television audience.

In 2012, there was no direct line with Vladimir Putin; instead, the president held a press conference at the end of December.
