Searches at the office of FKP "Airports of the North" in Yakutia are related to the initiation of a fraud case

The investigative authorities of Yakutia opened a criminal case against the FKP Airports of the North, where searches were carried out on Tuesday.

“A criminal case has been opened on the fact of illegal activities in the office of the FKP Airports of the North. So far it has been opened on the fact of criminal activity under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “fraud”. Investigative measures are underway,” the head of the Yakut investigative department for transport Vostochno told the Interfax agency -Siberian Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee Inna Milius.

Earlier it was reported that the investigative group of the Yakut transport prosecutor's office on Tuesday cordoned off the head office of the FKP "Airports of the North" and the airfield in the village of Magan. The company was searched and documents were confiscated.

Representatives of the company declined to comment.
