Day of Sergei Udaltsov

"Swamp business: one day is one name." Today is Sergey Udaltsov's Day, one of the most striking leaders of the modern protest movement in Russia. The authorities consider Udaltsov the organizer of the riots in Bolotnaya Square in Moscow. He faces up to 10 years in prison. Now Udaltsov is under house arrest, and the activities of the Left Front headed by him were suspended by decision of the prosecutor's office.

On the account of Udaltsov over a hundred detentions, a lot of hunger strikes. Each time to meet the coordinator of the “Left Front”, many supporters and journalists come from the special receiver, as in this video from May 24 last year:

Udaltsov is one of the initiators of mass rallies in Moscow, which began after the elections to the State Duma. It is Udaltsov that the idea of the "Millions Marsh" belongs.

Udaltsov adheres to left -wing views, but this never prevented him from cooperating with representatives of other political movements.
