The Moscow City Court sentenced the former member of the Russian socialist movement Konstantin Lebedev, the defendant of the "Swamp business", by 2.5 years in a general regime colony, Rapsei reports. It was found guilty of part 1 of Article 212 (the organization of mass riots accompanied by violence, pogroms, arson, destruction of property) for the "riots" in Bolotnaya Square during the May Million Marsh and in part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code (preparation for the organization of riots) according to the "Facts", set forth in the film "Anatomy Protest - 2". The accusation asked for Lebedev five years in a general regime colony.
The convict, according to his lawyer Vitaly Lavrov, does not intend to appeal the verdict. “We wanted a conditional term, but squeezed out the most possible in this situation. Lebedev’s testimony does not worsen the situation of Udaltsov and Razvozhaev, they are worsened by the evidence collected,” the defender noted.
Meanwhile, the press secretary of the Left Front Anastasia Udaltsova told Interfax: "Konstantin slandered everyone and came out almost dry from the water. It is clear that a year later he will leave the colony according to parole." She added that the other two accused in the case of an anatomy of protest - 2 " - the coordinator of the Left Front Sergey Udaltsov and his assistant Leonid Razvozhaev - will receive" more serious deadlines ", because" they did not go to the deal with the investigation and are not going to go. " “Maybe five years, or maybe eight,” said Udaltsova.
The trial of Lebedev took place on Monday. The accused went on a deal with the investigation, so his case was listened to in a special manner, that is, without analyzing evidence and interrogation of witnesses. The closed part of the process took about 20 minutes.
The prosecutor in his speech noted that the accused "actively cooperated with the investigation, participated in the investigation and prevention of new crimes", and mentioned the positive characteristics of the defendant, but concluded that the severity of the Lebedev crimes did not allow to request less than five years. The defendant was shocked by the prosecutor’s speech. Earlier, Kommersant reported that he was counting on a two -year term.
The prosecutor said that the organization of clashes on Bolotnaya Square cost the Georgian parliamentarian Givi Targamadze half a million rubles. In addition, according to the prosecution, Targamadze and later paid Lebedev, as well as Udaltsov and Razvozhaev, whom the TFR also considers the organizers of the "riots" on May 6.
Lebedev fully pleaded guilty, including episodes such as preparation of sabotage on the Trans -Siberian Railway and Massions in the correctional colonies of the five regions of central Russia. He also called a genuine video of the conversation of Russian opposition to Targamadze, demonstrated in the Anatomy of Protest - 2.
As the defendant’s lawyer Valery Lavrov explained to reporters, he made a decision on cooperation with the investigation of Lebedev after the recognition of Razvozhaev and the recording of the meeting in Minsk was at the disposal of the Investigative Committee, and a fragment of Sergei Udaltsov’s interrogation was demonstrated on the first channel, where he recognized the fact of a meeting with Georgian named Georgy Vasilyevich (that is, that is, that is, Targamadze).
At the end of the court on April 22, a statement was published on Twitter of Udaltsov’s assistants: "The Left Front believes that the behavior of Konstantin Lebedev, who stipulated all prisoners on May 6, is meanness and betrayal."
On April 8, Lebedev was expelled from the RSD. "Since the information about the cooperation of Konstantin Lebedev with the investigation was confirmed that it could create problems for other defendants in the" swamp business ", the Central Council of the Russian Socialist Movement decided to exclude Lebedev from the organization," the report said.
Meanwhile, the Committee on May 6 is in no hurry to find out all the circumstances, still considers Lebedev political prisoners and, by the beginning of the trial, devoted him a campaign of solidarity as part of the campaign “One Day - One Name”. However, none of the famous people recorded video features in his support.
Lebedev was arrested on October 18, 2012 and placed in a pre -trial detention center. However, on February 13, 2013 he was transferred under house arrest. The investigation petitioned the softening of Lebedev’s measures.
