The head of Udmurtia asks the FSB to deal with starving pediatricians

The head of Udmurtia, Alexander Volkov, called on the FSB to deal with the Izhevsk pediatricians, activists of the “action” trade union Tatyana Mazaeva, Olga Baryshnikova and Natalia Rybolovleva, who held a hunger strike on April 18-21 in order to force regional authorities for dialogue. “What is being done about what happened is not climbing into any gates. Someone wants to be worshiped. They find money for this - going from abroad, by the way. Are you not enough for you on the 17th and 90th year?” Said the head of Udmurtia. “And we will not shoot the minister for the sake of these scumbags.”

Meanwhile, as blogger Andrei Konoval notes , neither the “action” trade union, nor the protesting pediatricians demanded the resignation of the head of the regional Ministry of Health Vladimir Muzlov. The Minister of Health of Russia Veronika Skvortsova demanded to bring the official to disciplinary responsibility on Sunday, after the federal ministry revealed violations in the system of accounting and remuneration of Izhevsk doctors. Skvortsova also ordered the regional department to eliminate these violations within five days, and until May 1, to fully pay the doctors withheld money. It was after the statement of the Federal Minister Mazaev and her colleagues decided to remove the hunger strike.

Earlier, the requirements of the protesters were supported by the head of the National Medical Chamber Leonid Roshal. He promised to defend the interests of Izhevsk doctors in front of the officials of the center.

Meanwhile, the Italian strike of pediatricians, begun on April 2, continues. Initially, 11 doctors of two city clinics took part in it. Later, one of the protesters, unable to withstand constant stress, went to sick leave. However, later new participants joined the action.

The Ministry of Health of Udmurtia refused to enter into dialogue with doctors. Moreover, Muzlov threatened the protesting deprivation of "stimulating payments" - bonuses.

The immediate reason for the action was the introduction of the “fines” systems that began in the clinics of Udmurtia, which consisted in holding the “stimulating” in January. This measure, according to protesters, will allow officials to save on the salaries of local doctors and nurses. In addition, the discontent of the doctors caused monthly delays in a significant part of the salary.

The priority requirements of the doctors are the payment of all "stimulating", the abolition of fines and an immediate increase in the basic part of the salary by 29 percent. As Mazaeva previously explained, these issues are entirely in the competence of the republican authorities, and therefore can be resolved without any delay.

On April 20, a rally "For decent medicine!" Was held in Izhevsk. About 300 people participated in it. About half of the audience was made by doctors. They were supported by parents of children - patients of city clinics, as well as civil activists and sympathetic. At the rally, an appeal to the President, the Government and the Ministry of Health of Russia was accepted and the collection of signatures under this document was opened.
