April 25 - Solidarity Day with Oleg Arkhipenkov

Today, the day of solidarity with the defendant of the “swamp business” is held by Oleg Arkhipenkov, who was arrested, despite the fact that on May 6, 2012 he was not even present in Bolotnaya Square.

Arkhipenkov was not in political parties and did not participate in the rally. He was arrested in theater square and held in a pre -trial detention center for two months in the case of riots in Bolotnaya. During the detention, he was placed in a psychiatric hospital for the “treatment” of nervous breakdowns, after which Archipenkov could not speak coherently and could barely walk.

“They really wanted me to admit that I was on May 6 in Bolotnaya Square, but I wasn’t there, they asked about oppositionists, leaders, but I don’t know anyone at all,” says Arkhipenkov. “I was at theatrical, I was detained there during a completely different rally. The opera was sincerely sure that I was on Bolotnaya and was detained there. But then they figured it out, of course, it was sorting out ... the conclusion was sorted out. I have been difficult when you know that you were arrested for not doing this first.

After two months of being in a pre -trial detention center under pressure from the public, Arkhipenkov was released under a recognizance not to leave. The charges have not yet been removed from him, a person who was not in Bolotnaya Square is still under investigation. He has a court.
