According to investigators, on that day the suspect in the entrance of a residential building met a 21-year-old girl. Having received a refusal to meet a request, the man hit her, and then entered her apartment, where he began to threaten the victim with a knife.
The residents who reported this to the police heard a scream about help. “When negotiating, the man demanded to transfer 200 thousand rubles to him for the release of the hostage,” the RF IC said on the official website of the RF IC in early April. After the police managed to penetrate the apartment, the suspect was resisted, but was detained.
