In total, for this period, Google experts studied 2285 requests from different countries with proposals to delete 24179 content units.

For the period from July to December 2012, Russia sent Google 114 requests to delete various information from the corporation servers. In the first half of 2012 there were only six such appeals.

According to Susan Infantino, an increase in the number of complaints from Russia is associated with a change in legislation. "Information related to the elements contradicting local laws was deleted. To a greater extent, it concerned the interests of children," said Google representative.

In the second half of last year, Ukraine sent one official request to delete the material due to “slander” last half, Kazakhstan sent two requests for 22 materials on YouTube and Google blogs related to violence, considerations of national security or invasion of personal space.

Of the 20 countries, requests to block the anti-Islamic film "Muslim Innocent" shot in the USA, access to which is limited in several countries.

For the first time since the start of the publication of reports, there were requests for the removal of content from 18 new countries, including Iran, Egypt, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Nepal, Venezuela, Arab Emirates and Palestinian Autonomy, which the Internet giant first included in the list of states. The Palestinian leadership asked to remove five posts of one of the bloggers for "slander".

Iran and Egypt were asked to delete one video, “insulting religious feelings” (the request is not satisfied), Israel sent 6 requests (3 of them are satisfied).

From the United States, 321 Requests for the removal of 3946 materials were received - the main excuse was “slander”. At the same time, the United States leads in the world by the number of requests by state bodies of personal information of Internet users-in the second half of 2012, requests were sent about 14791 accounts, 88% of requests were satisfied.

The Google TNSPARENCY Report report has been published for the seventh time over the past three years. The corporation considers this to be "the best way to preserve transparency and protect users from arbitrary and politically motivated requests of state bodies."
