Alexey was born in Moscow, served in the Northern Fleet. He studies in absentia at the Russian State Social University on a conflictologist (graduated from the first year), works as a senior courier.

As part of the anarchist column, Polikhovich took part in all winter opposition protests, was an activist of the Occupy movement, and traveled to Zhukovsky under Moscow, to defend the Tsagovsky forest from cutting down. He was detained on May 6 during the dispersal of a rally on Bolotnaya Square.

On the night of July 25-26, he was arrested in his apartment. The investigation charges Alexei "Participation in the riots" and "Application of violence in relation to representatives of the authorities." The proof of the prosecution is a video in which a person who looks like Polikhovich pulls out a detainee from the hands of riot police. The arrest is motivated by the fact that Polikhovich "can hide."

Lawyers demanded the transfer of the accused from the pre -trial detention center under house arrest, but they were refused.

On October 29, Judge Skuridina extended the arrest of Polikhovich until March 6.

On December 21, after Putin’s press conference, Alexei Polikhovich “added” the article 318 , not paying attention to the fact that the investigation has already been completed. Allegedly, he, pulling a man from the hands of a policeman, hit him on the arm.

On March 5, 2013, the arrest was extended until July 6. Veterans of the Navy appealed to the court with a statement in which they gave characteristics to both Alexei and the entire “swamp” case.

Polikhovich received permission from the investigation for the wedding. Marriage registration will take place on June 6, 2013. In a pre -trial detention center, Butyrka.
