The former head of "Resorts of the North Caucasus" Akhmed Bilalov was poisoned with mercury

German doctors diagnosed the former chairman of the board of directors of the North Caucasus Resorts, Akhmed Bilalov, with mercury poisoning. Gazeta.Ru writes about this with reference to sources close to Bilalov. The analysis was done in one of the Bremen laboratories at the request of Professor Kelling’s clinic in Baden-Baden, where Bilalov is being examined, and revealed that the permissible norms were exceeded four times.

According to the publication's source, Bilalov was poisoned in his office in the center of Moscow. “The employees are also undergoing examinations and plan to contact law enforcement agencies. Everyone is in shock,” the source said. However, the Ministry of Emergency Situations did not confirm information about identifying sources of contamination with heavy metals at 21/4 Khlebny Lane, building 3, where Bilalov worked.

Akhmed Bilalov resigned from the post of vice-president of the Russian Olympic Committee and president of the North Caucasus Resorts after Vladimir Putin criticized him for violating the deadlines for commissioning the ski jump complex in Sochi and increasing the cost of this project. After this, the Accounts Chamber checked the North Caucasus Resorts, andthe Prosecutor General's Office opened a criminal case against Bilalov for abuse of office. At the same time, Bilalov went to Germany for examination and treatment.
