A new accused appeared in the "Swamp business". An anti -fascist and a member of the Coordinating Council of the opposition is accused of participating in the riots and the use of violence to riot police.

On Sunday, operatives came home to Gaskarov. “Gaskarov did not have any investigative actions at home,” Gaskarova’s lawyer from the Agora human rights organization Svetlana Sidorkina told Publicpost. “He was taken to the Investigative Committee in the status of a witness.” According to Sidorkina, Gaskarov was identified by some “witnesses of mass riots”, after which he was charged with participation in the riots (part 2 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and the use of violence against representatives of the authorities (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Then the opposition was delivered to the IVS on Petrovka. The Basmanny Court on Monday will determine the preventive measure.

According to investigators, Gaskarov led a group of participants in the riots on May 6. “In addition, during the brawls on the Bolotnaya Square, Gaskarov personally used violence against a police officer, thereby interfering with the fulfillment of his official duties to detain aggressive persons,” the investigative committee reported. “It should be noted that the guilt of Gaskarov is confirmed by video materials and eyewitnesses that have identified him as a person who committed it as a person who committed it as a person who committed it as a person who performed crime". Gaskarov does not admit guilt.

In May 2012, Gaskarov wrote a statement to the police and complained about beating from OMON employees during mass detentions on the opposition on May 6. Then he broke his eye. “There are no results on this application. At least Gaskarov was not informed,” Sidorkina said Publicpost.
