"United Russia" loses confidence

The ratings of the United Russia party fell significantly in the spring of 2013. Immediately in two polls-the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM) and the Levada Center-the Party of power is losing popularity. The FOM survey showed that if the State Duma elections took place on the nearly Sunday, United Russia would have received only 39% of the vote. This survey was attended by 3,000 respondents from 204 settlements of the country.

The fall in the rating began in the fall of 2012 - then 46% of voters were ready to vote for the "United Russia" in the parliamentary elections. Another indicator has changed significantly - the level of trust of Russians to the party. According to FOM surveys, at the end of 2012, 36% of respondents were not trusted by United Russia, and now - 46%.

In a survey of Levada Center , the results of which were published on April 29, 1,600 people participated. In August 2012, only 31% of respondents believed that government representatives were "concerned only to their privileges and income." In April 2013, their number increased to 41%. Moreover, 31% of respondents believe that the party in power "unites and protects the interests of the rich." 62% believe that people standing at the helm of the country are only interested in "maintaining and strengthening their own power." 52% believe that Putin’s environment is excited only by personal material interests. Finally, the question of whether the United Russia is a “party of crooks and thieves”, 33% of respondents answered “rather yes” (18% - “definitely yes”, 24% - “rather no”, 9% - “definitely no”).

Alexei Navalny, thanks to which the term "crooks and thieves" gained great popularity in the blogosphere, believes that "49% of citizens who do not agree unconditionally with the fact that" United Russia "is a party of crooks and thieves" is a "short -work" opposition.

Judging by the polls of the Levada Center , the President Putin's ratings are now stable. In March 2013, 30% of respondents admitted that they could not say anything bad about the president, and 50% to the question of whether they trust Vladimir Putin, they answered "rather yes." True, 46% would like another person to replace another person in the post of President Putin.
