Oboronservice managers were deprived of "golden parachutes"

The main military prosecutor’s office deprived the top managers of OJSC Oboronenergosbyt of gold parachutes-compensation payments upon dismissal. The company, which is part of the structure of Oboronservice, in February 2013 in just one week lost six top managers. During the week they paid compensation in the amount of 50 to 100 average monthly earnings (from 10 to 41 million rubles).

It is noteworthy that four of the fired after less than five days were again hired to work for their previous posts.

At the request of the prosecutors, managers who received payments returned the state illegally issued to them 155 million rubles. In addition, the security forces additionally sent proposals to the Ministry of Defense of Russia on streamlining such payments in joint -stock companies that are part of the Oboronservice subcholding.
