1883. Yaroslav Hashka was born

130 years ago, on April 30, 1883, the Czech writer Yaroslav Gashkka was born, who became famous throughout the world "The adventures of the brave soldier Schweik." This novel has become one of the main antimilitarian works of world literature, and Joseph Schweik has become an immortal humorous way.

In 1911, Gashki with a group of drinking companions created a parody "Party of moderate progress within the law." He usually finished his speeches at campaign meetings: “Citizens! Vote only for a batch of moderate progress in the framework of the law that guarantees you everything you want: beer, vodka, sausages and bread! ” The party also demanded the introduction of slavery, equalization of animals in rights with people, the introduction of the Inquisition and the obligatory introduction of alcoholism, but failed in the elections.
