12-year-old girl missing in Saratov found alive
Investigative authorities in Saratov on Tuesday found 12-year-old Arina Khlebnikova, who had not returned from school the day before, Anna Marusova, press secretary of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee for the region, told the Interfax agency.
“The girl is alive. She appeared at about 12:00 near her school, where operatives met her. There are no visible signs of violence on the child. A pre-investigation check is being carried out,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
According to A. Marusova, at the moment Arina is being taken to the investigative department, where she will be interrogated in the presence of her parents.
As previously reported, on Monday at about 14:00 Moscow time A. Khlebnikova left the school located in the Volzhsky district of Saratov, but never showed up at home.
In addition to investigative agencies, police and volunteers were involved in the search for the girl.
