The CBD may increase the transport tax on high-power vehicles from 2014

The government of Kabardino-Balkaria has approved draft amendments to the KBR law “On Transport Tax,” the republican Ministry of Economic Development reports.

According to the Minister of Economic Development of the Kabardino-Balkaria, Aliya Musukov, to whom the department refers, it is proposed to increase the current rates for passenger cars of higher power.

In particular, for passenger cars with engine power from 150 to 200 horsepower, it is proposed to increase the rate from 30 to 35 rubles, for passenger cars with engine power from 200 to 250 horsepower. If changes to the law are adopted by the parliament of the republic, they will come into force on January 1, 2014.
