The head of the regional security department at the City Hall, Alexei Mayorov, on May 30, stated that the procession would not be authorized on May 6, explaining that it is impossible to organize such a mass event on a working day (May 6 is Monday).
One of the organizers of the action, a journalist, member of the solidarity political council, Alexander Ryklin, told Interfax on Thursday that the permitted number of a rally is 30 thousand people. "We have achieved that in the case of overflowing the rally territory, the area of the share will be increased throughout the square and pedestrian part of Bolotnaya Street," he said.

At some point, we were ready to abandon the request, including the rally. We consulted with our colleagues, even wrote a refusal.
