Day of Alexei Gaskarov

May 3 - Day of solidarity with Alexei Gaskarov, the last of the “swamp business” arrested.

Alexei Gaskarov is a famous anti -fascist, defender of the Khimkinsky and Tsagovsky forests. He became a public activist, barely graduating from the school in Zhukovsky near Moscow. In October 2012, the anti-fascist was elected to the Coordinating Council of the opposition, in March 2013 he became a member of the People’s Council of Zhukovsky.

According to the Investigative Committee, on May 6, 2012, in the Gaskarov Bolotnaya Square, he led a group of persons who took an active part in the riots. " He was also charged with beating a riot police. The testimony of Gaskarov was given by a fighter Igor Ibatulin , previously convicted of perjury. Ibatulin could not identify Gaskarov. He was identified only by the "classified witnesses", who supposedly all saw from the outside, and one of them was driving special transport.

In court, Gaskarov admitted that he dragged the riot police from the demonstrator, trying to stop the reprisal. He screamed "What are you doing?" In response, Gaskarov struck a rubber club on the face and, throwing to the ground, began to beat their feet. Gaskarov received cut his head wounds and almost lost consciousness. In the emergency room of Zhukovsky, he was overlapped by three seams. Gaskarov filed an application for beating in the TFR, but in the end he himself became the accused. On April 28, Gaskarov was seized on the street when he went beyond the cat for a cat.

In the Basmanny Court, the representative of the Investigative Committee read a certificate from the Center "E" that Gaskarov is the leader of Antif and, together with activists of other movements, holds direct action shares "aimed at destabilizing the political situation in Russia." According to the same certificate, Gaskarov was taken into custody in 2010 in the case of the Promotion at the Khimki administration. Then the anti -fascist spent three months in a pre -trial detention center , then went on a subscription about a lower room . It was fully acquitted by the court , later the defense achieved the payment of compensation of 50 thousand rubles for illegal criminal prosecution.

On May 1, on the Novosibirsk Monestation, the slogan on one of the banners read: "Gaskarov went out and will come out more":
