“We all understand that the law has entered into force. And now we have only to ask: to make an exception for those children who have already seen their expectant mothers, and for those mothers who have already seen their children. Because it can threaten irreversible consequences, and we have no right to intervene and change other people's fate,” Khamatova said.

Actor Yevgeny Mironov also asked the country's leadership to help children, many of whom have serious illnesses to find a family in America.
