The governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko was sent a letter with unknown powder, reports Fontanka.ru. The letter was intercepted in the post office: the employees of the department on Sofiaskaya Street, were suspicious that only the name of the sender - Stas Andreyevich Vasiliev was on the envelope - but the return address was not indicated. The envelope was handed over to the police. The results of the examination, according to unofficial data, are not yet.

In mid -April, a letter was intercepted in the United States to the Senator -Republican from the state of Mississippi Roger Wickker, which contained Ricin - a potent poison of plant origin. On April 17, the country's secret service, which leads the protection of the first persons of the state, discovered another letter with Ricin, addressed to President Barack Obama. In the acquisition and storage of Ricin, as well as an attempt to use it as a biological weapon, a 41-year-old martial artist from Mississippi Everett Dachka is accused. He is threatened with life imprisonment and a fine of 250 thousand dollars.

On April 23, the Minister of Defense of South Korea Kim Kwan Gin, a letter with threats came. The envelope also contained white powder. Nevertheless, as the examination showed, this powder turned out to be wheat flour.
