In this regard, until the verdict is appealed and considered by the Perm Regional Court, they will be kept in the Perm pre-trial detention center,” a representative of the Perm Regional Prosecutor’s Office told the Interfax-Povolzhye agency on Monday. This procedure can take from one and a half to several months, he clarified.

Gospozhnadzor inspectors Dmitry Roslyakov and Natalya Prokopyeva, found guilty by the court and sentenced to terms in penal colonies, will have to go to the place of imprisonment after the resolution comes into force, the agency’s interlocutor added.

Director of Pyrotechnic Company Pirotsvet LLC Sergei Derbenev and his son, an employee of the same company Igor Derbenev, who organized fireworks at the club, received 5 years and 4 years 10 months in a general regime colony, respectively. They were found guilty of violating fire safety rules when using pyrotechnic products. Former inspector of the State Fire Inspectorate of the Perm Territory Dmitry Roslyakov was sentenced to 5 years in a penal colony. Another employee of the Perm Gospozhnazor, Natalya Prokopyeva, was found guilty of negligence when conducting official inspections at the Lame Horse club and was sentenced to 4 years in a penal colony. Both are prohibited from holding public office for three years. The former head of the State Fire Supervision Service of the Perm Territory, Vladimir Mukhutdinov, was sentenced to a fine of 70 thousand rubles. He is deprived of the right to hold public office for three years. At the same time, those defendants who were previously under arrest will receive credit for their time in custody. Punishment for state supervision inspectors will be counted from the moment of arrival at places of deprivation of liberty.
