Dagestan expects an increase in the volume of gross regional product (GRP) in 2013 compared to 2012 by 10.9% - up to 399.12 billion rubles, the Interfax-South agency was told in the Ministry of Economy of the republic.
At the same time, the growth of industrial production is projected to be 13.3%, agricultural production - by 5.8%, investment in fixed capital - by 15.9%, construction volumes - by 15.4%, retail trade turnover - by 10.5 %, the volume of paid services to the population - by 5.4%, cash income of the population - by 12%, average monthly wage - by 11.6%.
Unemployment is expected to fall to 11.7%.
“At the end of 2012, the economic situation was characterized by an increase in the pace of the main socio-economic indicators compared to the previous year and forecast parameters. The established accelerated pace of development must be maintained in the near future to ensure a significant breakthrough in the republic’s economy,” noted a representative of the ministry.
