Interpol refused Russia to arrest Targamadze

Interpol denied Russia to arrest the Georgian politician Givi Targamadze put on the international wanted list on the "Swamp Base". According to Interfax, he himself announced this at a press conference in Lithuania, where he lived recently. Targamadze noted that after Interpol seized Russia's request from the database about his detention and search, and the Prosecutor General of Lithuania rejected the Russian side of his extradition, he had the opportunity to return home. “I will return to Georgia. And so three months that were very tense for Georgia, I spent in Lithuania,” Targamadze said.

In February, Targamadze was officially put on the international wanted list, before that the Basmanny court of Moscow authorized the absentee arrest of Targamadze. On February 14, the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee in absentia brought Targamadze an accusation of the Anatomy Protest -2 case. Policy is charged with part 1 of Article 30 and part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code (preparation for the organization of riots). A similar accusation was brought by other defendants in the case - Sergey Udaltsov, Konstantin Lebedev and Leonid Razvoszhaev.

On April 25, the Moscow City Court sentenced Konstantin Lebedev to 2.5 years in a general regime colony. The prosecution asked for him five years in a general regime colony.

Lebedev fully pleaded guilty, including episodes such as preparation of sabotage on the Trans -Siberian Railway and Massions in the correctional colonies of the five regions of central Russia. He also called a genuine video of the conversation of Russian opposition to Targamadze, demonstrated in the Anatomy of Protest - 2.
