Wage debt in the Voronezh region fell 2.4 times in the first quarter
Wage arrears in the Voronezh region as of April 1 of this year amounted to 6.58 million rubles, at the beginning of the year the debt amounted to 15.5 million rubles, said the deputy head of the state labor inspectorate - deputy chief state labor inspector in the Voronezh region Irina Zheltukhina at a press conference on Tuesday at the Interfax press center in Voronezh.

According to I. Zheltukhina, compared to the first quarter of 2012, wage debt decreased by 36%.
An analysis of the structure of overdue debt, noted I. Zheltukhina, showed that a significant share of the debt - more than 15 million rubles - fell on OJSC Buturlinovsky Distillery.
Today, according to her, the debt to the employees of this enterprise has decreased - thanks to bankruptcy proceedings - to 3.5 million rubles.
In addition, the main debtors in 2012 were also Polet Airlines CJSC, Voronezhavia Airlines OJSC, Kardail Flour Mill OJSC, Znamya Oktyabrya OJSC, Zarechye LLC, added I. Zheltukhina.
“In total, cases of untimely payment of wages in 2012 were identified in 67 economic entities. Cases of delay were identified in relation to 8 thousand 186 employees. The total amount of payments made last year, including according to orders issued in 2011, amounted to 144, 8 million rubles. 448 persons were brought to administrative liability in the form of a fine - for 2.5 million rubles," she said.
The head of the state labor inspectorate, the chief state labor inspector in the Voronezh region, Zhanna Vasilyeva, noted at a press conference that it is often the employees of enterprises themselves who complain to the inspectorate about non-payment of wages.
“So, last year, a number of complaints were received from employees of UMMC Rudgormash-Voronezh LLC and Rudgormash CJSC, who, as it turned out, had numerous salary arrears,” she said.
