The consumer price index in the Rostov region in April of this year amounted to 100.6%, since the beginning of the year - 102.6%, according to the official website of the territorial body of state statistics.
Consumer prices for food products increased in April by 0.9% compared to March (from the beginning of the year - by 4.2%), for non-food products - by 0.4% (by 1.6%), services increased in price by 0. 3% (by 1.6%).
The largest increase in prices in the group of food products in April was observed for fruits and vegetables (by 5.2%), alcoholic beverages (by 1.5%), and eggs (by 1.3%). At the same time, in April prices for fish and seafood fell by 1.5%, sunflower oil (by 0.6%), meat and poultry (by 0.7%).
Among non-food products, the largest price increases were recorded for tobacco products (by 2.6%) and shoes (by 0.6%). The price of gasoline, detergents and cleaning products decreased slightly.
Among the services, the most expensive ones were foreign tourism services (by 2.9%) and communication services (by 1.1%). Utilities and passenger transport services have fallen slightly in price.
