Police in the Rostov region conducted a raid, during which they discovered six underground gaming clubs in one day, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region reported on Tuesday.
“Five illegal gaming clubs operated in Rostov-on-Don under the guise of bookmakers, and another operated in the city of Shakhty,” the report says.
Basically, visitors were offered to participate in gambling via the Internet, the press release notes.
As a result of the raid, police seized 41 pieces of equipment used for illegal gambling activities. It has now been sent for examination, based on the results of which a procedural decision will be made.
