
Sergei Prikhodko was appointed temporarily acting head of the government apparatus after the resignation of Vladislav Surkov. The corresponding resolution is published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers. Since May last year, Prikhodko worked as the first deputy head of the government apparatus. Before his appointment to the White House, he was an assistant to the president for international affairs.
The day before it was reported that Surkov, along with Prikhodko, will be performed by the first deputy head of the government of the government Alexander Levitskaya and Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich. On Wednesday, Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the dismissal of Surkov from the post of Deputy Prime Minister - the head of the government apparatus. Surkov worked in the Kremlin and the White House for about 14 years. He wrote a statement of care of his own free will. According to the official version, the resignation is related to the execution of last year’s decrees of Putin. On the eve of the resignation, Surkov entered into a public conflict with the leadership of the Investigative Committee of the Skolkovo case.
