"Pearl warrant officer" arranged firing in a cafe

In St. Petersburg, a former policeman Vadim Boyko, known as the "Pearl Warrant Officer", was detained. According to Fontanka.ru, he fired at the Cheburek cafe on Tchaikovsky Street. Boyko was detained by employees of private security for a call to the police officer on duty. The local department was told that Boyko had a conflict with Cheburechny employees because of the missing hours. Boyko went home behind the hunting gun and managed to take one shot - he hit the ceiling when the cafe administrator tried to take a weapon directed at him.

According to ITAR-TASS, Boyko was in Cheburechny the night before. In the morning, he discovered the disappearance of a wristwatch, took a gun and returned to the institution.

A criminal case has been instituted against Boyko under the article "Hooliganism", which provides for up to seven years in prison.

The Pearl Warrant Officer became widely known after the strategy-31 action is dispersed in July 2010. Then he hit the head of the rally by Dmitry Semenov with a club, calling the opposition "ferrets." Boyko received his nickname because of plastic races, similar to a pearl bracelet. The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not see violations in the actions of the "pearl warrant officer", but later he was brought to criminal liability. The court sentenced Boyko to 3.5 years in prison for abuse of authority. The verdict entered into force in April last year. After the initiation of the case, the "pearl ensign" quit the police.
