Victory Day in Volgograd

We celebrate a holiday obtained by blood and then, with courage and pain. The war left after itself millions of crippled destinies, carried away a huge number of human lives. In this day, greatness and sadness, the brilliance of orders and tears of veterans merged.

The past decades did not shake the status of May 9 as a popular and unifying holiday. For 68 years, nothing overshadowed the greatness of the feat of the Soviet people.

In Russia, they remember this feat and still believe that the state in non-pay duty to the memory of those who fell in that war, protecting the homeland, and who survived.
