On the Smolensk road

Hello friends!

This story about our trip to the villages, where we distribute products to lonely and poor grandmothers, large families and participants in the war.

I oathly assure you that I will not kick on politics and try not to look for the guilty, I will only state facts and no more.

This is not the first time we come to the Smolensk region with a sincere desire to help those in need. To do this, we purchase products, load them into cars and go to deliver to the addressees. This kind of unique action became possible thanks to cooperation with the social protection department of the Novoduginsky district of the Smolensk region.

Why are we doing this?

We believe that it is impossible to help people lying down not a sofa, but from the fact that we will simply argue about politics, the situation will not change. Lonely grandmother’s firewood will not appear and no one will bring gifts to her.

Why grandmothers?

But because grandfathers die much earlier, unfortunately.

All our wards are lonely grandmothers and are the heroes of labor, many workers of the rear. They worked mainly on collective farms, after bankruptcy and collapse they remained not out of work, so many have incomplete work experience, but hence the minimum pension, a little more than 5.500 rubles. Of these funds, grandmothers are saving money all summer to buy two firewood machines by winter. They also need to buy medicines, pay for the light, but to eat is a little less than what they desired.

So, volunteer's travel notes:

1.

230 kilometers on the road, the first stop of the village of Tesovo , here we are met by a dry old woman Valentina Grigoryevna, she is lonely, she is 76 years old, she has a pension of 5,100 rubles.

- Oh, thank you very much, now I will have enough for all the holidays! - Grandma tells us - I will not need to buy anything, you brought everything to me!

- I added a pension of Zhirinovsky, for as many as 140 rubles, but the prices in stores were also added ...

- Thank you very much, God give you health to everyone, come, I will wait for you!

2. We are going further around the villages, in line we have a large family of Elena Petrovna, she has four children. Mom is a housewife, father is working on a tractor when there is a job. The family has a cow, of course we are all city, as we learned about the cow - running in the barn with her to take pictures and stroke her face, and she sniffed us and snorted. We leave the family a grocery set and stationery for children: albums, paints, plasticine, pens, notebooks, etc.

3. We drive up to the village of Alexandrino, before the alliance there was a chic recreation house, but in the 90s everything fell apart. Around the house of those who worked in it and all of them were left without work. We visit our ward grandmother - Nina Ignatievna, she is 86 years old, she is the hardshop of the rear. He lives alone, she can only move on a stool and bent over. He complains to us about health, what awaits death, but it seems to her that God has forgotten about her. Of course, it is very scary to be left alone with your weakness and old age. But then social workers come to the rescue, who receive 1200 rubles for each grandmother for their hard labor, but with a grandmother there is a lot of trouble with their grandmother: to feed, wash, bring products, wash.

Very difficult work, with a meager salary.

4. We are going to the village of Vysokoye with particular joy in the heart, because here in the old hut lives our beloved grandmother - Varvara Alekseevna, she is 99 years old. She always prepares a table for our arrival: a potato, a herring with a ray, a salad "Olivier" and much more. But we love her not for treating, of course, but for her soulfulness, meekness, patience and inexhaustible storehouse of wisdom and understanding. She is some kind of special, never complains about anything, she looks like Arina Rodionovna and always takes care that we are satisfied and full. Varvara Alekseevna Truda of the rear, she worked all her life as a nurse in the "Children's Tuberculosis Dispensary".

“God give you to survive what we experienced!” Cold and hunger, the German on Smolensk land was attended, scary to remember!

- There is not a single family that the suffering of war did not affect, everything was in the blood.

We leave two large boxes of products and 5,000 rubles per firewood. Grandma refused money for a long time, barely persuaded her to take them.

In December, this year Varvara Alekseevna will turn 100 years old, we will definitely come to congratulate her, we are already starting to think how to organize everything ...

What a bright soul is, how can such a thing die?

5. We can hardly get to the village of Grigoryevskoye, this is a wilderness and the road there is from sand and gravel, some pits and bumps. Here we have a laptop for a disabled guy who has long dreamed of having an Internet access to communicate with the same guys like him. His name is Sergey, he is 23 years old. From birth, he has no sensitivity below the belt, his legs do not work and he is forced to carry them behind him, leaning on crutches.

Sergei was very happy about the computer, because thanks to him he will be able to "walk" on sites, communicate and get acquainted with new friends. We wish him the courage and strength of the spirit!

6. The village of Izvekovo, here we visit Boris Efimovich, he is 80 years old. He was a participant in the war, but did not fought, was injured (most likely on a mine), and this is equal to the participants of the Second World War. He’s cold in the house, his wife died recently, he is bored with alone and lonely. He has a son, but judging by the empty refrigerator and dirt in the house, we can conclude that he comes very rarely. We congratulate Boris Efimovich on the upcoming holidays and leave him many products.

7. In the village of Shevandino for the widow of the Participant of the Second World War, we brought a wheelchair. Nadezhda Fedorovna is 82 years old and the legs refuse. We are told very much for the stroller.

8. We are going further to large families and the road we talk about the fact that in the social department. Grandmother came to defense and asked for help, at least with products, but did not leave the address. Suddenly we look, and she sits on the rails here, decided to approach her and talk. Faina Vasilievna, so she introduced herself, could not explain to us where she lives, she is shy and not in herself. But the products asked her to leave right here on the ground. We began to offer her to take her home and the products there to take it there, to which she refused.

We leave her products and take her note, we will definitely find out the details of her story and help in more detail.

9. Here is the village of Novodugino, to the Mironov family, in which 6 children, we carry many products and stationery for children. Mom with a breast, sixth child in the hospital, and the dad of this family is accused of raping his own daughter and is waiting for his fate in the pre -trial detention center. There is a consequence, but for now their godmother is looking after the children. A terrible situation, but one must somehow get out of it and live on, because the children are not to blame for anything. This family is helped by a local church and neighbors, all the world a little bit.

10. Here is another large family, there are four children in it. The house is clean and neat, warm. Children are funny, smile and well in the soul.

11. Our last grandmother today is the dear Iraid Pavlovna, she is almost 80 years old, we have known her for almost a year. The pension is small, the house is raw and old, with a rusty stove by a potbelly stove. We lay out the products on the table and the grandmother begins to cry ..

- Girls, you are only the only ones, I have no one but you!

- Come to me, do not forget me. dear!

- My hand does not obey at all, I can’t tie a scarf, I adapted to tighten the door scarf through the loop, so I have a flock at the door of the entrance and tighten the scarf, and then the neighbor decided to go - and how the door pulls, so I flew into the corridor like a traffic jam ... this is a story. We brought my grandmother two down scarves and a warm sweater, brought a little granny.

12. Vladimir Kuzmich, a participant in the war, he is 87 years old. He went through all the war from Moscow to Berlin, next to his wife in the photo. Every year there are fewer such real heroes, more than 10-15 years and no one of them will remain. Our holy duty is to preserve the story and bring our children and grandchildren the whole truth about the war, to prevent the truth, not to allow you to distort and belittle the feat of the courage of our ordinary Russian people.

So our difficult and eventful day ended, it seems that a month has passed since the moment we left, so many things have seen ...

Between the villages there is a distance of 25-40 kilometers and we wound 600 kilometers that day.

How do you want the villages to be revived, to get subsidies for fuel, because it is simply necessary to work for farmers. People want to work, but due to high fuel prices there is no profit. Already almost no one holds cows, because milk is taken 8 rubles per liter and keeping the cow is not beneficial. Some kind of impasse, it remains to hope for the best, for new politicians who are just growing up. And we will continue, we will come and help our grandmothers, because it was they who worked on the collective farms without turning hands, they worked in the rear and on the occupied Smolensk land.
