Gmail will allow you to send money by attachment

Owners of Android smartphones have been able to pay for purchases using the Google Wallet electronic payment system for two years now. The idea is to completely forget not only about cash, but also about plastic cards: everything is saved in the phone.

And soon Gmail users will receive a new service based on Google Wallet - transferring money as an attachment to an email message. According to Google's promise, in the coming months the Gmail mail interface will be replenished with a new icon - a dollar symbol: just click on it and indicate the size of the transfer.

As usual, at first the innovation will affect only users from the United States over 18 years of age. Google will keep 2.9% of credit card transfers (minimum 30 cents), but transfers from bank accounts and Google Wallet will be completely free. What’s interesting is that the recipient only needs to have a Google Wallet, and it is not necessary to register with Gmail itself.
