Under Stockholm, young people burn the car in protest against the murder of a man with a machete

In the suburbs of Stockholm, young people, setting up cars and attacking police officers, rebelled. Dozens of cars became a victim of a rebellion: local residents are disagreeing with the fact that law enforcement officers killed an armed person, reports The Local .

The event that stirred the suburb of the Swedish capital of Husbu happened last week. The police, who came to the call, saw an armed machete of a 69-year-old man. Deboshir threatened the law enforcement officers, they began to shoot, as a result of which the elderly gentleman died. Local residents also outraged that the police, according to some reports, misinformed the population: they reported that the man had died in the hospital, but the neighbors said that the ambulance did not come for him and he was taken immediately to the morgue.

After the incident, local residents wondered if law enforcement officers could not do without murder: "He was an old man with a knife against a whole group of trained and armed officers. They really were forced to kill him?"

The riots began on Monday night. Young people began to set fire to cars, witnesses counted at least 100 injured cars. They also set fire to the garage, I had to evacuate a residential building and place residents in buses. In addition, the local shopping center has become a victim of vandals. When the police arrived at the scene, they were met aggressively: they began to throw stones at them. In total, 50-60 young people participated in the riots. Three policemen suffered in skirmishes.

There is also a message that the initiative group of young people tried to make contact with the police, but law enforcement officers seemed to call the delegates to monkeys and black machines, after which they beat youth who came to put up with clubs.

“Today no one is happy, even those who set fire to the cars. Everyone knows that this is not a solution to the problem,” the Local Rosebeh Jalaie, the editor -in -chief of one of the publications of Husbu, quotes. She noted that social dissatisfaction has been accumulating in the suburbs for a long time: the district ranks third in the number of school graduates, who finish their studies with poor grades and immediately fall into the number of unemployed from the school threshold.
