The colony administration in Berezniki did not recommend the court to satisfy the request for the parole of the Pussy Riot group Maria Alekhina. This was reported to the "Franes" by human rights activist Alexander Podrabinek, representing Alekhin in court.
According to him, the decision was supported by the heads of various colony services. The head of the psychological support service of prisoners motivated the refusal to recommend UDU by the fact that Alekhina did not pass psychological trainings for convicts. Podrabinek emphasized that the passage of trainings is voluntary and cannot serve as the basis for deciding on parole.
The Bereznikovsky court will consider Alekhina’s petition for parole on Wednesday. Alekhina requires a personal presence in this process, otherwise she will declare a hunger strike, which the FSIN organs officially notified.
On Monday, the Perm Regional Court canceled one of the penalties imposed on Alekhin in the colony. Thus, the court partially satisfied her complaint about the decision of the Bereznikovsky City Court, which in February recognized two of the four penalties - for the rise not on time and an impolite handling of the colony employee. Two more penalties were then upheld - for another morning rise at the wrong time and the transfer of personal correspondence to the lawyer.
The regional court was canceled by the reprimand announced for the transfer of personal correspondence. Thus, all the penalties except reprimands for the late climb are recognized as illegal.
