The “Analytical Center of Yuri Levada” was warned by the prosecutor's office on the inadmissibility of a violation of the law on “foreign agents”, which may lead to the closure of the organization. The warning was also received by the subsidiary of VTsIOM - the Fund for the Promotion of the Study of Public Opinion.

The organization "Blue Buckets" sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office of St. Petersburg on the fact of beating in Kolpino by the traffic police officers of the Blue Vederi activist Georgy Kokorin.

Deputy Prosecutor General Victor Grin signed an indictment against 12 “Prisoners of Bolotnaya”. The case was referred to Zamoskvoretsky District Court of the city of Moscow. Within a month, the start date of the trial should be set.

In the apartment of the coordinator of the Moscow branch of the Left Front Vasily Kuzmin, a search was carried out. After the search, Kuzmin was taken for interrogation to the Investigative Committee. After several hours of interrogation, they released home in the status of a witness.

In the suburbs, the activist of the Left Front Denis Kurai, in his absence, was also a search. At the end of the search, representatives of the guardianship department arrived, who took the 6-year-old daughter of the opposition from the house, and took her a 10-year-old sister from the school. Later, the girls were returned to the wife of Kurai.

Amnesty International has submitted its annual report. It states that in 2012 the situation with human rights in Russia deteriorated sharply.

The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation did not recognize the Nizhny Novgorod Committee against torture (checkpoints) by the “foreign agent” on April 30, the organization received official warning from the prosecutor's office. It said that the checkpoint took part in public events that can be regarded as political activity.

Former deacon of the Russian Orthodox Church Sergey Baranov, who renounced San in protest against the persecution of Pussy Riot, received political asylum in the Czech Republic. Sergei Baranov decided to go to Catholicism.
