The ex-Zamglavs of the Ministry of Regional Development Vereshchagin headed the "resorts of the North Caucasus"

The ex-and-in-law minister of regional development Sergei Vereshchagin was approved by the open meeting of shareholders as general director of the "resorts of the North Caucasus". This was reported on the website of the state corporation. Since May 14, Vereshchagin was acting CEO of KSK.

Vereshchagin is 38 years old. In 2006-2010, he worked in the administration of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, including various ministerial posts. Then, until April 2013, Vereshchagin was the deputy head of the Ministry of Regional Development, where he led the Interregional Department for the North Caucasus Federal District. On April 30, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev removed the official from his post. Even then, the media took information that he was being prepared for the post of head of the KSK.

The predecessor of Vereshchagin in this position, Alexei Nevsky, resigned on February 6, formally "for health reasons." On the same day, President Vladimir Putin criticized the chairman of the Board of Directors of KSK Akhmed Bilalov for "miscalculations" in the construction of the Russian Gorki springboard complex in Sochi and instructed to dismiss him.

On April 10, the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened criminal cases against Nevsky and Bilalov under Article 285 of the Criminal Code (abuse of official powers). They were accused of unreasonable expenses of budget funds. On May 8, on the fact of violations in the state corporation, one more thing was opened - in part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy on a particularly large amount). In this matter, however, there are no accused and suspects yet.

Bilalov since mid -February has been abroad. At the end of April, information received that he had poisoning with heavy metals, presumably mercury. At the same time, the source of mercury was discovered in the office in Khlebny Lane in the center of Moscow, where Bilalov usually worked.
