An Omsk police officer is suspected of shooting a pensioner with a traumatic pistol on a playground.

According to investigators, on Wednesday evening in Omsk, in the courtyard of a house on Sibirsky Prospekt, a 30-year-old canine inspector of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation came into conflict with a 63-year-old pensioner, the Investigative Committee reports . A policeman was walking on the site with his son, an elderly citizen was walking with his granddaughter. They didn't share the swing.

During an argument, a police officer shot the pensioner with a traumatic pistol. The victim was wounded in the abdominal cavity. He was taken to the hospital and operated on.

Depending on the results of the forensic medical examination to establish the severity of the harm to the pensioner’s health, a legal assessment of the actions of the suspect will be given. On the fact of causing harm to health, a case was opened under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Battery”).
