The defender of the rights of car owners can be imprisoned for the fight against flashing lights

On May 30, an activist of the Russian car owners Vadim Korovin was detained, who is accused of running on the leg of the traffic police inspector Kirillov Yu.L. Korovin is confident that the policeman simulated an injury. This story began with a rainy evening on May 24 on the Rublevskoye Shosse: Korovin did not give way to a car with a miletic traveling along the oncoming lane. According to the activist, Viktor Kiryanov, deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, was in a car to whom he did not give way, and a criminal case was opened on his recommendation. Korovin lasted more than five hours. According to Korovin, law enforcement officers erased records from his DVR: his defense is looking for witnesses of events on May 24.
As a result of Korovin, according to the decision of the Odintsovo City Court, it was detained for 72 hours. The maximum punishment, which is provided for by part 2 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the application of violence in relation to the power of the power of violence for life and health) is ten years of imprisonment.
