On May 30, the police and the FMS held the largest raid on illegal migrants in Moscow this year - 952 citizens of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey were detained. This has not yet happened

Result of the raid: a passport of a Turkish citizen in the hands of an employee of the FMS
In the morning of the same day, an interview with Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin appeared, in which he said: “People who speak Russian poorly, who have a completely different culture, live in their own country. Therefore, we do not welcome their adaptation in Moscow. ” Migrants are seasonal workers who, having worked in the city, must return to their country, the mayor believes.
I also want Moscow to be a city where the Russians live, but such statements smack of racism. The European city, especially the capital, is always a city in which a variety of nationalities and cultures are represented.
Another question is the problem of illegal migration. It existed and exists. The authorities offer us to fight this problem, while problems should not be fought - they must be solved. In this particular case, to start with employers of illegal immigrants, who, instead of fulfilling the law, “feed” the police and officials.
The second is not only about labor migrants. Now, after mass raids, those who are looking for asylum from dictatorship and arbitrariness in Russia are mortally frightened. And for them we do not even have a temporary stay center. All transport nodes are located in Moscow, and refugees will willy-nilly in the capital. Here they turn to migration services and are waiting for reception for weeks. Where should they live at the same time? It’s good that now is summer and warm. Were the winter?
The rigidity and cruelty in handling people is meaningless: it does not reduce illegal migration, because these thousands of people are still a drop in the sea, one Uzbek will leave - his brother will come. Nothing will change. But corruption will grow.
For four years, the concept of migration policy was created in Russia. President Putin approved her almost a year ago. Everything says it: about the adaptation of migrants, and about integration, and on simplifying the institution of registration, and the modernization of the institution of permissions for temporary residence and issuing a residence permit, and the development of the institution of asylum. But none of what was said is done! Instead, mass raids and threats of deportation.
As for the Russian language, I am also depressed by its condition. In the sense that many Russians began to speak badly on it. Apparently, the influence of Russian literature is weakening ...
