The owner of the Jerusalem "Beitar" businessman Arkady Gaidamak gave a surprise, announcing the sale of half a package of the Club of the Chechen businessman Tamerlan Majidov.
According to Gaidamak, the new owner will give an impetus to the development of Beitar and lead him to victory in the Israeli championship, Newsru Israel reports.
Majidov, who lived for a certain time in Israel and having local citizenship, intends to invest at least $ 5 million in the club in the next season. In January of this year, he helped organize a Bayitar trip to Grozny.
The new co -owner said that he was not afraid of the conflict with the radical fans of Beitar, who openly protested against the presence of two players of the Grozny Terek Zaura Sadaev and Dzhabrail Kadayev.
The recruits were met with bayonets of the extremist fan group "La Surname", adhering to the anti -Muslim views. They arranged stocks during matches, broke training, defiantly left the stands and even tried to burn the club’s office . Gaidamak himself, as well as members of his family, was attacked.
Earlier, the media expected that Eli Tavav, who managed to agree with the fans of the team and promised to reconcile them with Arkady Gaidamak, would become a co -owner of the club.
