In Sochi, a retaining wall of residential buildings moved over the night - residents blame the inept builders who make a nearby road

The next troubles, it seems, are again provoked by the Olympic construction work, take place in the microdistrict of Mamaika of the Central District of Sochi. There, in one night, under the houses of N43-45 on Vishneva Street, a four-meter retaining wall moved from the local area to a distance of 1 meter.

The total length of the resulting crack between the retaining wall and the adjacent concrete site is about 20 meters. This was reported to the Sochi-24 correspondent by the residents of the houses on Vishneva Street.
On a section of the road near their houses, work is underway to lay paving stones and asphalt the road.

According to local residents, employees of the contracting organization that conducts work here, without coordination, opened the land for the construction of the sidewalk near the retaining wall, exposed its foundation and left it uncouraged. The consequences were not long in coming. On the night of June 3 to 4, the retaining wall "drove away" from the local area by a whole meter.

Residents appeal to the authorities demanding to immediately carry out restoration work, otherwise, according to them, the wall can fall on the roadway at any time.

Recall that at the end of April, the inhabitants of the Sochi village of Blinovo collided with a huge landslide that threatened their houses, which was not a natural cataclysm. According to local residents, the landslide arose thanks to the work that is carried out by laying the cable to the Olympics.
