Sobchak was not allowed to attend the St. Petersburg Economic Forum

Ksenia Sobchak was not allowed to attend the St. Petersburg Economic Forum as a journalist.

“I was denied accreditation (!) as a Dozhd journalist at the St. Petersburg forum. The official wording is “by decision of the organizing committee,” the TV presenter wrote on Twitter.

“And the only one of all (!) journalists was rejected! Is this normal, in general? What kind of “organizing committee decision” is this???" - Sobchak was indignant .

St. Petersburg Economic Forum 2013 will be held on June 20-22. The main topics of the forum will be the global agenda for sustainable economic growth and Russia’s place in this agenda. Participants of the Business Twenty summit will be present at the forum. The Dozhd TV channel, for which Sobchak planned to cover the economic forum, was announced as its media partner.
