Audi will release a competitor BMW 3GT

The updated version of the Audi A4 will be complemented by Vario, Interfax reports with reference to British journalists.

The car based on A4 will receive an elongated wheelbase and will become a competitor of the BMW 3-Series GT. The appearance of Vario is scheduled for 2016 - two years after the release of updated sedan and station wagon.

As Topgear recalls, the characteristics of the expected renewed models are as follows: for the sedan, the creators announced a mass and three types of engines reduced per 100 kg (2 liters of TDI \ 150-184 hp.; 6 liters of TDI \ 218-272 hp.; 2 liters of TFSI).

Restyling S4 at the same time will receive a 3-liter V6 with a capacity of 340 hp. In addition, manufacturers promise to release the hybrid version of A4 - an environmentally friendly model with a capacity of 136 hp. will be all -wheel drive.
