The Mahindra Indian manufacturer, which produces the Verito model based on Renault Logan, presented a new product in the new type of body, reports Autonews.ru with reference to the Autoevolution publication.

The unusual design of the car is that it looks like an ordinary hatchback, but its trunk can open without glass. Thus, the car has four doors, like a sedan.

This car can be sold in Russia. So, at the end of last year, Mahindra considered the possibility of entering the Russian market. Moreover, if a positive decision is made, the cars of the Indian brand will go on sale no earlier than two years later.

According to the head of the company Pavan Ghenka on the air of the NDTV television channel, the company's management has not yet decided to assemble cars in Russia or import ready -made cars.

At the beginning of 2012, Mahindra & Mahindra reported that she was negotiating with her subsidiary - the South Korean Ssangyong Motor - on the establishment of assembly production in Russia.
