A videotaped shootout in the Tver region between locals and Caucasians led to the “day of Russian wrath” (VIDEO)

On Saturday, June 8, in the city of Udomlya, Tver region, a “day of Russian anger” will be held, which will take place due to the aggravated ethnic conflict there. Nationalists from different cities of the region, as well as from both capitals, are going to take part in the action. Messages are actively circulating on social networks calling for support for the action.

The aggravation of the protracted interethnic conflict in Udomlya is associated with a video that got on the Internet, which depicts a shootout that took place in the city on June 1. According to NEWSru with reference to the Tver news agency, two groups of young people did not divide something between themselves, began to swear, and then used weapons, including firearms. As a result, two people were slightly injured. After that, the conflict continued in another place - in the courtyard of one of the houses. Two people were also injured there, but more seriously - one was taken to the hospital.

Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that on the fact of the incident (apparently, the first fight), one case was initiated under paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Art. 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (beating or committing other violent acts that caused physical pain, but did not entail consequences from hooligan motives).
